Hello 👋🏼, I’m Candice and I created Bon Magasinage with the ambition of making second-hand the first fashion! It’s been announced that by 2029, the second-hand market will have overtaken that of fast fashion. That said, 2029 is still a long way off… so what do you say we go faster?
Arriving in Montreal in 2015 for 6 months, I didn’t have much clothes with me. I planned to shop second-hand when I needed them. However, I haven’t found a service equivalent to the platforms I loved in Europe, which opened the doors to the closets of millions of people. And so, 4 years later, Bon Magasinage was born (and I’ve stayed 🇨🇦 ❤️ ).
Bon Magasinage is the answer to several needs that converge towards consuming less but better:

With Bon Magasinage, I’m making sure that our community becomes strong and that we can have a real impact, both ecologically and humanely! By the way, if you haven’t already, I really recommend watching the documentary The True Cost, available on Netflix. It shows us what goes on behind the scenes of the textile industry and prompts us to think radically.
Bon Magasinage gives me the chance to speak on behalf of those who can’t, but who are the direct victims of the textile industry. When you watch The True Cost, you realize that the planet and human beings are being overexploited in order to produce ever faster and ever harder.
