A magnificent vintage fedora from the renowned Canadian brand Biltmore (made in Guelph, Ontario). A superb classic piece with a timeless retro style, perfect for connoisseurs, collectors or to complete an elegant vintage look.Brand: Biltmore (The Master Hat of Canada)Style: Classic fedora with a teardrop crease (C-Crown / Teardrop crease)Size: 6 ¾ (equivalent to a head circumference of 54 cm – small size, ideal for men, women or teenagers)Colour: Beige/taupe hair felt, wide olive/brown grosgrain ribbon and original coloured feather trim (red, yellow, black, beige).Finishes: High-quality bound edge.Detailed condition report: Exterior: The felt on the crown is clean, smooth, very dense and retains its original stiffness with no sagging whatsoever. The feathers and ribbon are in impeccable condition.
Interior: The black leather sweatband is sound, supple, glossy and securely stitched (original zigzag stitching intact). The white satin lining still has its protective plastic film over the bilingual heraldic logo.Please note, for the sake of transparency (see photos): There are a few slight rings of natural oxidation caused by age on the white satin lining, as well as two small marks (one greenish, one dark) beneath the brim, which are completely invisible when the hat is worn.
