Baseball shirt – The Blues team

Directly inspired by the American film *A League of Their Own*.

One-off pieces created for the ‘Les 4 Chevaliers’ event on 11 July at St-Basile-le-Grand.

The Blue Team

Dress 1:
Bust (at the fullest point) 45’’
Elasticated waist: at rest 36 3/4’’ and stretches to a circumference of 40’’
Waist: minimum 38 1/2’’, maximum 44’’
The waistband is made of stretch fabric with a black clip at the front (see photo)
Hips: 45’’
Bicep: 15’’
Length of the dress from the top of the shoulder (high shoulder point) to the bottom hem: 36’’
Length of the skirt from the waist: 17’’

Dress 2:
Bust (at the fullest part of the bust): 40½’’
Elasticated waist: 33’’ at rest and stretches to a circumference of 39’’
Waistband minimum 34’’, maximum: 39’’
The waistband is made from stretch fabric with a black clip at the front (see photo)
Hips: 44’’
Bicep: 13 1/4’’
Length of the dress from the top of the shoulder (high shoulder point) to the bottom hem: 36’’
Length of the skirt from the waist: 17 1/2’’

Might correspond to a Medium

The ‘DOLLARD AMATEUR BASEBALL ASSOCIATION’ badge is vintage, picked up at a car boot sale. It certainly dates from another century (the 1970s) and has seen better days. The photo clearly shows the condition of the badge.

The fabric is a stretch knit of unknown fibre, but probably 100% polyester

Machine wash in cold water. Hang to dry
Worn only once
